Engagements - Alexis and Michael

DUMBO is an awesome place to work because it is always changing. Now we have these cool waterfalls placed around the waterfront. Unfortunately, you have to be on the Manhattan side to appreciate them.
Alexis and Michael had a fun little romp with us around the area. It was a hot night so everyone involved was all sweaty. Thankfully, you can always grab some great ice cream from the little shop under the bridge.
Tomorrow, I am going to have some of Alexis and Michael's wedding photos from last Sunday which was absolutely beautiful.

Jaclyn and Robert - Pleasantdale Chateau

I apologize to all who frequent our little news page for my absence in posting lately. We have had a crazy summer full of awesome weddings. I am going to try to catch up with a post a day.
I wanted to start with Jaclyn and Robert because their reception was at one of my favorite places to photograph, the Pleasantdale Chateau. I can photograph their all day long. They also have some of the nicest people working there especially our new pal Santiago.
When you are at a place like this, you have to budget a little extra time for us to play and Jaclyn and Robert gave us all the time we needed. They are a great couple that PJ and I had a lot of fun with walking all over the grounds finding all sorts of cool little unique spots

Engagements - Nicole and Vincent

Remember when I mentioned about watching the weather a while ago....
Well this time I was not as lucky but that never stops us--once we are going, we are going.
For Nicole and Vincent, we started shooting at the Tribecca Hotel where they got engaged. Then I started to feel some drops on my head and the sky opened up. Luckily the storms were moving pretty fast across the area. After a little break in the hotel lobby, we headed back out to play only to get caught again after walking a couple of blocks. Finding some dry locations made for some great romantic little spots. Any awning or overhang became our spot to stop. But the best part about when it rains are the puddles that remain.
